How often do you get personal time where you are listened to and where the focus is just on your own issues? When you don’t have to be concerned about the listener?
Counselling enables you to share your thoughts, feelings and emotions – and to ‘meet yourself’.
The sessions are led by you and work through the issues that matter to you. Trying to talk about personal things can be immensely difficult. My skill is to help you share whatever troubles you are experiencing, even when they are ‘un-formed’ and you feel you don’t have the right words.
My counselling process is not about providing solutions, it’s about discovering your own strengths and inner resources, enabling you to cope effectively with your life. My office is safe and discrete but perhaps not always comfortable, because sometimes we might need to break through the limitations of what we feel is familiar.
